Fort Atkinson Wrestling Club

2008-2009 Season

Youth Club Practices Begin

Thursday, November 20th

Practices will be held this year on Monday and Thursday evenings in the high school wrestling room and will start November 20th and end approximately mid-March.
grades K-2nd will practice 6:00pm - 7:00pm
grades 3rd-8th will practice 6:00pm - 7:30pm

  • Our Folk-Style Youth Wrestling Tournament has been scheduled for Saturday - December 20, 2008. Please use tournament link for more details and registration form!
  • December 2nd is "Youth Night" at FAHS Wrestling dual meet vs. DeForest.
  • Middle School practices start January 5th!
  • Our popular ham sandwich fundraiser will begin in December. Orders will be due on January 9th and sandwiches will be made available for pick up on Tuesday, January 20th.
  • January 27th is "Parent Night" at FAHS Wrestling dual meet vs. Milton.
  • January 29th is "Alumni Night" at FAHS Wrestling dual meet vs. Oregon.
 

 Mission Statement

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for young people to learn the sport of wrestling and compete in organized tournaments. It will be the responsibility of the organization to:

  • Foster good sportsmanship.
  • Give instruction in strong fundamental competitive wrestling skills.
  • Promote and develop a good competitive spirit.
  • Develop a cohesive team unit.
  • Promote friendship and respect for others among wrestlers and members.
